Repair and Rejuvenate with IPL Photofacials

An IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) therapy is used to treat sun damage, wrinkles, stretch marks and age spots. IPL is also known as photo rejuvenation or photofacial.

 

 Combat free radical damage, fine lines, refine large pores and improve the overall texture and appearance of the skin. Treats hyperpigmentation and vascular damage. The Dermalase IPL Photofacial targets sun damage, age spots and freckles by pulsing light based energy into the unwanted pigment. This causes the temperature of the unwanted melanin to rise which helps to break up the pigment.  Deeper level damaged blood vessels are treated similarly with a quick switch of settings.  Shortly after treatment, the pigment cells (or melanin) have been thoroughly fragmented, without damaging the surrounding tissue. Broken blood vessels also coagulate and shrink, many of them disappearing altogether.
